Mountain - Red Bull Red Monday - Nashville 1-5-15 After tremendous growth in 2014, Red Bull wanted to host an unforgettable, post holiday party for the Nashville service industry. Red Bull activates this “Red Monday” event as a special “thank you” to the restaurant and bar who work the holidays, special events, and busy seasons. Because of the special nature of the event, no details are too small and the experience must be second to none. To meet their goals, Red Bull commissioned Mountain to develop the concept, booked a unique space, hire entertainment, and capture content. Mountain conceptualized a multi-faceted secret warehouse party at a secret location tucked away in an under-developed warehouse on the Cumberland River. In this space, Mountain converted a 10,000 sq ft abandoned warehouse into three rooms with a surprise portion unveiled mid-way through event. After passing through the Red Bull branded fire barrels, guests entered a long hallways draped with red curtains, post-apocalyptic chandeliers, and Red Monday logos cast on the floor through GOBOs. In the first room, bass blasted from a swanky lounge with infamous DJ Case Bloom from Boom Bap playing old school funk, soul & rock 45’s. Guests jumped in the photo booth for pictures and grabbed a drink at the bar. In the second room, a jukebox played dive bar tunes while people shot pool, threw darts, and played the six 1980’s era arcade video games. The bar was packed five deep as friends from Nashville bars laughed and took Instagram pictures against the projection walls. At 10:30, a humming bass shook the steel rafters and drew everyone to the hallway. The red curtains pulled back to expose the surprise third room with Jamie Lidell behind pulsating LED lights spinning and singing his brand of DJ music. With big room sound, a stout lighting production, and a surprise performance by legendary soul dance artist Jamie Lidell, the crowd danced the night away. The temperature outside was 21 degrees and the Neuhoff building doesn’t have heat (it barely has electricity), but that didn’t stop 1,000 influencers and tastemakers from flocking to this event on the edge of the city for a night they would never forget. _______ FOLLOW LIPSapp Classic Radio _______ FB: r-js/1vz7Pcz / TW: r-js/1kHd2Qt / Listen to LIPSapp Classic Radio r-js/1dOIQ18 #classicrock #rollingstones #ledzeppelin #santana #eagles #zztop #thewho #beatles #elvis #jimihendrix #dylan #acdc #michaeljackson #pinkfloyd #madonna #u2
