Mountain 3-4 Norfolk Ingood Dave B Orin (2, 1 pen) Forced to play with five men and me in goal we did incredibly well but ultimately couldnt prevent the leaders maintaining their 100% start to the campaign. Our two guests for the night, father and son duo Sal and Orin proved to be a great find by David Squires and alongside Dave B our four outfield men kept my activity to a minimum. In fact we took the lead from one of our chances midway through the first half only for Norfolk to quickly level. 1-1 at HT. Inevitably Norfolk began finding more gaps and forced me into regular action despite the work rate of our side and they grabbed the lead, however their keeper conceded a penalty that Orin calmly tucked in for 2-2. Norfolk piled on the pressure, we continued to block but I was beaten again, first by a screamer then when their forward broke clear to smash in. 4-2, all over? Not quite, we were still creating chances and Orin finished well to make it 4-3 but that was how it ended, gallant defeat. We stay 3rd on GD.
