Mountain Grown Kenebec Potatoes. Next Week. Ive had a hundred calls for potatoes. We always grow potatoes but ours didnt make it this year because of the rain. I cooked mashed potatoes last night from store bought potatoes. This will NOT DO. There is a huge difference in mountain potatoes. So I got on the ball and found a grower in Laurel Fork. He will dig them next week. Really come get your potatoes here. I dont know how much he is charging. But I will pay it because we cant cook without having potatoes and I cant eat those shipped in. I am a potato and bean expert since this is what I ate everyday growing up. And here is the potato secret. They HAVE to be Kenebec and they HAVE to be grown on the mountain.
