Mountains of paperwork at the MSP licensing division. They do amazing work despite the poor working conditions. I asked for a tour of the facility in an effort to better understand the backlog of applicants for gun purchases. The on line application for a handgun qualifying license is being developed in a professional manner and addressing the needs and concerns of the various stakeholders. The Gun bill is costing a great deal of money, inconveniencing non-criminals and will have virtually no impact on gun crime. MSP is making lemonade out of the lemons of SB 281.
