Move Yoga and Fitness is proud to announce that they are now a Silver Sneakers Flex Facility. “Adding to Silver Sneakers to our studio means that we can reach more folks to help keep them Moving regardless of their age,” says Studio Manager Mary Comfort. “Move has been participating with Silver and Fit, and with Healthy and Fit for several months. This is all part of our goal to help every person, regardless of age and fitness level, remain active and keep moving.” Classes available under the Silver Sneaker program are identified on the Move Yoga and Fitness webpage at moveyogaandfitness. All classes offered at Move Yoga and Fitness qualify for participation under Silver and Fit, and Health and Fit programs. Silver Sneakers and Silver and Fit allow many participants to engage in exercise programs with little or no out of pocket expense. The cost of participation is part of the individual’s health insurance benefits, and is paid by their insurance carrier. “We are so thrilled to be able to offer a full range of programs, not only for seniors, but people of every age. Our classes range from gentle Chair Yoga and WalkFit to more traditional yoga to Zumba and Barre,” added Comfort. “In February we will also be kicking off our programs for kids.”
