Move Your Money is a growing movement of ordinary people who want - TopicsExpress

Move Your Money is a growing movement of ordinary people who want to replace the current financial sector with one that serves people and planet, rather than just itself. We believe in the transformative power of collective personal action, and persuade people to move their money out of the big 5 banks that caused the financial crisis and into smaller, more stable and ethical alternatives. We are now ready to take the campaign to the next level, and are embarking on a redesign of our website to make it more engaging, interactive, and campaign oriented. We are looking for a web developer with the skills, experience, and availability to turn around an exciting web brief in double-quick time. Sound like you? Great! You’ll have excellent back-end development skills, and be comfortable with front end technologies too – demonstrable experience is a must. Strong preference will be given to those that have built sites before that included user profiles with social logins, as well as to those passionate about changing the world! You’ll work closely and iteratively with our core team to a detailed brief. Highlights include: • Database of good banks including search and filter functionality (think Money Supermarket) • User profiles supporting a variety of person-to-person actions, including emailing friends about the campaign, downloading customised posters and recording testimonies to camera (were interested in en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamification) • A long-scroll (possibly parallax) page explaning the MYM narrative • Blog and current campaign microsites • That warm glow of satisfaction for contributing to an ethical, sustainable and imperative cause This is paid work commensurate to experience, with a working beta site needed by mid-September. Consequently, we are looking to appoint the developer by next week. If this is your cup of tea then email [email protected] with your portfolio and a request to see the full brief. Due to time constraints, London-accessible candidates are preferred. Move Your Money is an equal opportunities employer, and encourages applications from BAME candidates and all under-represented groups. Please do feel free to share this tender with anyone and everyone you think would be interested. Many thanks, Fionn
