Move of the Day!! Broke out the resistance bands in my hotel room tonight! Yes, please be sure to read the fact Im in a hotel and this IS NOT my choice of decor at home . Dont want yall unfollowing me because you think I have crazy horrible taste - lol! Okay, onto the workout! So, this one was pretty tough for me and Id probably use a lighter resistance band in the future - but I worked with what I had and did the reps to failure. Its a lot harder than it looks! Can you see my bat wings a shakin?!? Its a plié squat, so take your legs out wider than shoulder width and turn your toes out. Cross the band in front of you. Squat, the pull the bands up and out to the side. Keep a little bend in your elbows to avoid strain in the wrong areas. I could only do 10ish with this particular band before my form was just horrible. So find a resistance weight that works for you and push to failure (the point at which your form fails).
