Movement of the Week SQUAT WITH COURTESY LUNGE ON BOSU This exercise is an example of working smarter not harder!! this movement targets your core, glutes, abductors, adductors, quads and hamstrings. As soon as your body interacts with an unstable object, (Bosu) every millimetre of your muscle contracts in order for you to maintain balance and not fall with the core automatically engaging during the exercise. Directions are as simple as placing both feet on two Bosus - squat down until glutes are aligned with knees, then squeeze glutes and pelvis back to centre and standing position, then cross one leg back behind you to the floor holding for 1-2 seconds and bounce back onto the bosu with a squat and repeat onto the other side.
