Movie Review #1: Muppets Most Wanted. Bottom line up front: If you remember and enjoyed the Muppet Show you will like this movie. If you didnt its entirely dependent on your personality if you will like it. There are numerous inside jokes during the movie which almost requires a historical knowledge of the show. Its still very entertaining. I enjoyed it very much at times though there are a few slow parts in the middle. I am still giggling over this line: ...the most romantic place in the world: the Tower of London. The movie takes place almost entirely in Europe and they are true to Germany and most impressions of the French (though the French guy appears to work in Geneva he is too stereotypically French). Great guest stars, with some for only a few seconds. The musical numbers? Meh. I didnt care for many of them but a couple are catchy. Recommend for all fans of the show and anyone who liked the first movie (well, the movie before this one). If you dont know the Muppets, however, you probably wont care for this.
