Movie review: Lucy Messy, but moving; An unwilling drug mule gets dosed with a new drug that lets her use greater and greater portions of her brain...similar to Limitless, in that regard...perhaps the bigger question is how much of our mind we dont use...mind and brain are not the same thing, although apparently connected... I enjoyed the movie, and despite Luc Bessons penchant for gratuitous violence, he tells a great story; he makes some great connections to quantum physics and presents some awesome cinematic reference points for expanded abilities and tools we can utilize to affect our realities; it seemed to me that his view of expanded consciousness, and therefore of God, was more Borg like, not caring for individuals that are minuscule and irrelevant... As consciousness expands, wouldnt it make sense that love, compassion, humor, joy, and attention to detail would also expand? Not recommended for the highly sensitive folks, however; it is a Luc Besson film, after all...
