Movie review: Rush The true story of two formula 1 racers and their rivalry in the 1970s. This Ron Howard film got a great response from critics, but honestly Ron Howard films have only been pretty good for me. Did this one change the pretty good streak? From the start this film is shot very cool. The fire up of the engines are beautiful, and the movie has slick look to it over all. The story was all brand new to me since I dont know much about British formula 1 racing in the 70s. Shockingly. So in the last half of the movie it drew me in with some interesting story curves. Sadly I didnt really care that much about the rest of the movie. It wasnt bad. It just never grabbed me until the last half. There were a couple of lines that were really bad. I didnt dislike this movie. It just didnt hit me like it should have. Eh.... Imdb: 8.3 Rottentomatoes: 89% good reviews My score: C+
