Moving into my new place in Taksim has proven to be quite the challenge. Due to intense police activity and tear-gas all around, I had to leave my car with all my belongings in it at a garage overnight, and barely made it to the apartment with the dog. I was very concerned for the dog as dogs are particularly sensitive to tear gas. After walking away and around for an hour, I managed to make it home with the dog, unscathed. I hear sirens and megaphones and explosions in the distance. There is fighting all over the place but I am safe with the windows and air-conditioner switched off. Will post video later this evening of what I went through to get home in the car.
