Moving on, we have a huge 8 man tag match. Shelton X Benjamin, Lance Arche, Davey Boy Smith, and Takashi Iizuka vs Yano Toru, Shane Haste, Micky Nicolls, and Naomichi Marufuji. Love this match. The story behind it is awesome. Yano Toru used to be partners with Iizuka, but Iizuka turned on him and joined the faction that Benjamin, Archer, and Smith belong to (Sorry, the name of it escapes me for the time being.) Yano was left without partners and declared that he would bring in foreigners to help in this match. Turns out the foreigners were from NJPWs newest business partner, NOAH Pro Wrestling! Nicolls and Haste are tag team partners and Marufuji is a legend in NOAH. The match is definetly solid. Iizukas team shows their power as Torus team shows their speed and wit. I love Yano Toru. Hes like a WWE comedy character, only done right. One of the biggest (pun intended) highlights was Archers MASSIVE chokeslam to Nicolls. Taker and Show could take lessons from him. Ending came when Nicolls and Haste hit their double team finisher on Iizuka and Marufuji nails his wicked Tiger Knee finisher. (Picture a Shining Wizard,except with a knee straight to the face). Really good match and enjoyed it thoroughly.
