Mozambique’s government has declared a state of emergency in the wake of the recent floods that have displaced at least 19,000 households and collapsed bridges that connect the main highway between the north and south, making overland transport impossible. When a bridge near Mocuba, Zambezia, collapsed it knocked out a major power line supplying power to all the northern provinces, meaning our base in Pemba could be without power for quite some time. In response to this severe flooding we’re asking for prayer for protection and provision for all of our missionaries, children, staff and the thousands that have been displaced… Trusting in Jesus, Heidi and Rolland Baker
