Mq~ I have a 1 week old that I breast feed. I had to start supplementing because she was not peeing. She also was not satisfied after feedings. Usually half hour on each side but she was not having those hard sucks and swallows till recently. I think my milk came in late. My problem is wanting to decrease her formula but she is always seeming hungry until I give her a bottle. However she is back to her birth weight already so I know I could afford to cut back. I breast feed her till she hasnt been swallowing for a bit. Many times I have her nurse twice on each side for a second let down but she is still hungry. I basically feed her when she is fussing. It always works. Am I mistaking her hunger cues for just wanting to suckle?~ Johna
