Mr. Belvedere is home from the vet, still looking bleary-eyed from anesthesia, but alert and acting normally. He has eaten some of his new medicated food (thank you Citrus Heights Pet Hospital for the samples), had some water, and was able to urinate on his own. They did drain and flush his bladder and he has a lot of crystals built up which the food and meds are supposed to help with. They gave him an ultrasound and didnt see any stones in there, so hopefully he will be okay so long as I remain vigilant in his care. Now the fun starts for me, since I get to pill him three times a day for two weeks and stab him with a needle a couple times a day. Poor kitty. At least hes alive!
