Mr. Benard McCollister, Today, I lift up and give honor to a great friend. Benard and I go back some 47 years as we grew up in a small community of Center Texas. Our beginnings were humble, not having much was the norm; yet God saw fit to nourish and feed Benard. Benard was an avid sportsman loving football, baseball, and basketball being really good at all. His love for sports prompted him to remain in Center and pay it forward to the youth of Center. He coached little league baseball, basketball, and football for many many years and is well known and respected by the young lives he impacted in so many ways. Mr. McCollister is a prime example that is important that people with all different talents are so influential to the growth of our youth. I am proud to have Benard as a friend and I have been blessed with our many conversations. His wisdom is unsurpassible and his means of delivery directly to the point. Love Ya Brother!!!!!!
