Mr. Bernard Leroy Williams, age 86, of Bremen, GA, passed away January 19, 2015. He was born August 10, 1928 in Cleburne County, AL to the late Henry and Myrl Stogner Williams. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Williams Rivers and sisters, Nellie Patterson, Erlene Hand, Phyllis Waldrop, and Irene Walton. Mr. Williams worked in the pressing room at Sewells Manufacturing for 45 years. In his retirement his favorite hobby was to work on old lawn mowers. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Dorothy Allen Williams; son-in-law, Robby Rivers of Bowdon, GA; grandson, Robert Rivers III; and great-grandchildren, Bobby, Elizabeth-Anne, and Kathleen Rivers, all of Atlanta. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM from Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00 PM.
