Mr. Bowler has recommended that the Board approve extending the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Henry County Board of Education, Technical College System of Georgia, and Southern Crescent Technical College pertaining to the construction and operation of the Academy for Advanced Studies college and career academy. The MOU will be extended through June 30, 2015, in order to provide for the use of all remaining funds awarded through the Georgia College and Career Academies Project. The BOE has approved the recommendation.
