Mr. Dowe was my Physics teacher in 1968-1969. Only today I found his obituary and the photo of him took my breath away. It must be from the time I had him as a teacher. I had nothing to base my feelings on as a high school student. I only knew he was a wonderful man and an incredible teacher. Reading his obituary I am absolutely astounded at what he accomplished in his life and the choices he made that allowed me the privilege of being in his classroom. I have thought of him often over these many years and I am so happy that I found this to share. His 6 children should be so very proud. A life well done. I wish I had tried to locate him before he died so that I could have told him he made a difference in my life.
