Mr. H, there are three things I do not accuse a person of: 1. Telling lies. 2. Being mad/insane. 3. Being a communist. Because there is no defense against these accusations. Who the heck am I to know what God wants of me? Believers are not good by the fact of their belief. Belief is not good in and of itself. It is as good as how tolerant and respectful of others right to life and freedom it is. My belief doesnt give me the right to drag others into a court of my own supercilious makings. A court of illusions. A court of ghosts. My belief is for myself, my life, and how I conduct myself with my spouse and my children, how honoring I am of their freedom. It is within my personal life and my religious body. Not something that I can trumpet about in society as if it were a truth binding on all... like the wearing of a cap on everyones head. Because society exists only if there are differents. A society of sames is a cluster of clones. My belief is tested by the depth of my ability to respect another who believes differently from me. The worth of my belief consists in how much I respect others who differ in their opinions and beliefs from me. You believe in God, good for you! It doesnt always work for another. Hypocrisy has a history and a herstory too. People believe one thing and practice another. Double standards. One for what they write that others should do and one for what they do: pontificating to others on how they should conduct themselves, what they should believe... Who has appointed you a teacher of belief? Suffice it for you to be a practitioner of your own beliefs and me of mine. After all, have you realized that to believe anything at all, a man/woman must think!?! Because only thinking and not parroting can led to belief. Beliefs and the practice you have evinced here stinks of holier-than-thou attitude. I must get off my high horse. Let us share here what we do for one another as brother and sister rather than trying to preach, teach and convert others. That is the basic disrespect that is the undoing of the well-being of believers in the world today...
