Mr. Haruna Alhassan, thank you very much for bringing this issue to light. These are some of the things we can divert of attention and resources to. I am very familiar with Kukuo and all the conditions and problems you accurately articulated in your piece. Even though I do not know the exact cost of a borehole at home, I believe we can come together and raise enough money to pay for the construction of a borehole for the people of Kukou. We do not need the government or NGOs to do this for us. Allah has given us enough resources to undertake this noble project on our own. If anybody on this platform has any information about the cost of constructing a borehole, kindly share them here so that we can initiate a fund raising effort. I wish to announce my interest and commitment towards such a noble project. I call on all and sundry to chip in whatever you can afford when the time comes.
