Mr. Herman (Butch) Ramik and his wife became Taylor Residents in - TopicsExpress

Mr. Herman (Butch) Ramik and his wife became Taylor Residents in 1973. He has 20 plus years in law enforcement working in Southfield and Taylor. Mr. Ramik served in our Armed Forces and was presented with numerous honors for his service to our country (Thank You). A Vietnam Veteran who is still very dedicated to maintaining the memories of our service men by founding the Taylor Warriors Museum, Council spearheaded by Ms Burke changed the name however, we will always view it as what it was originally named since the intent was to honor our Warriors. “Butch” had served on our City Council stepping down for personal issues in 2010. We have not seen his platform in writing but he has been vocal about it and discusses it often on his face book page, Heritage News video and questionnaire. He has publicly stated his number one concern is Public Safety as well as the safety of Public Servants. What impressed us is that not only does he express his concern, he also has ideas on the funding source for it, such as grant writing and reinstating revenue generating programs. Mr. Ramik attends most City Council meetings and informs the Council of issues and events relayed to him from residents and updates from the VFW and the Museum. Although he is very involved with city issues we have not read anything on his stance of our current budge deficit, however we do see Mr. Ramik as a strong voice and a strong leader. This one is up for grabs!!!!!
