Mr. Ismail’s AP Literature class spent the last few months drafting, composing, and illustrating children’s stories as part of their continued exploration of the effective and imaginative use of language. The appreciative audience of kindergarteners and first-graders at FS were treated to Jana Korn’s The Clovers Learn a Lesson; Erita Rothschild and Caleb Merriam’s Henry the Hippo; Aïda Knipp’s The Multicoloured Hat; and Billy’s Family, written by Laura Horvath and illustrated by the entire class. Great work Mr. Ismail and the whole class - Laura Horvath, Ersin Kacapor, Aïda Knipp, Jana Korn, Diamond Lewis, Cameron Ohree, Erita Rothschild, and Hugo Schroeder!!
