Mr. Khachatur Kokobelyan, Member of the National Assembly of Armenia, Head of Free Democrats Party, explained his point of view of how important NATO-Armenia cooperaion is for the security of Armenia. Particularly he said that even though Armenia is a full member of Collective Security Treaty Organization, its members fail to ensure the security in this region, instead, NATO, not even having the prospective for Armenia to become its member, manages to ensure the security. In particular NATO members decided that their intervenions in the South Caucasus will make the situaion more unstable, and so they decided not to sell arms either to Armenia or to Azerbaijan, of course with some exceptions. He also discussed the situation in Ukrain and what NATO does for the peacekeeping.
