Mr. Krishnamurthi was a thinker. In his model outlined in the speech captured below, he abstracted Past, Present and Future in one variable NOW, which accounts for the life and death simulateneously; with one caveat, that is, no radical change in time frames looking ahead. Furthermore, he tied Action to it arguing that when you bring time (for instance, Pondering or Procrastination) into Action, one would have nothing but undesirable byproducts, conflict and confusion among others; we see it manifesting in many forms, including Yoga studio, where the more you think in real-time on postures the less you would be able to perform them. Likewise, the more you ponder, the better the chances that initial conditions have drastically changed leading to unexecutable Action (isnt this what you see with many brains, including my own folks?) Yet another element that he connected to NOW is the ME, or the abstraction of what we are from birth, a collection of memories, however, dominated by Attachment, whether it is to a physical entity or an emotional being. The possibility to an end of ME is what induces the attribute of fear, which gets entangled to, whatever degree, with events such as living and death. When you dont worry about ME or Keep all else, time-wise, from Action, what you have is Fearless Soul. See one such a soul, or the subtle body, from Scotland, in the following. youtube/watch?v=xQ_IQS3VKjA
