Mr. Marc Victor, a freelance artist from San Jose, USA visited DAV Public School, Ludhiana on 13th October, 2014. He taught the children the fine art of ‘Scribble Painting’. Around 350 students from different classes involved in art activities or artists themselves participated in the tutelage session. The students learnt the finer nuances of painting and benefitted a lot. The artist also held an interactive session with the students wherein the students put forth their queries about different kinds of painting, which were lovingly answered by him. Mr. Marc is a self taught artist and has been displaying his work of art since 2002. At present he is teaching at TCY, Ludhiana. The Principal, Mrs. J.K. Sidhu thanked Mr. Mark and said that such classes help the students and bring about eagerness and awareness towards the soft skills.
