Mr. Patriot & I were fortunate to have a rare date night tonight (thank you Nana Patriot). We went to see Left Behind. I am someone who has read the entire series. I couldnt put the books down. One after the other, I consumed them. Wonderful series. When I heard about this movie, I was thrilled. The casting was perfect. Excellent performances by Nicholas Cage & the actress who plays Chloe, his daughter. Mr. Patriot says its the most intense movie he has ever seen. I thought it was extremely good. I am mentioning this not to get into a debate with those who translate the Bible differently. Christians do definitely debate about HOW the Lord will return. One thing we do agree on is that He WILL return & with the way this world is going, that is a huge comfort. I dont see how anyone can go see this movie & not feel the effect of it in some way. Hopefully it will cause a lot of people to start thinking about God. Have you seen it? What did you think? ~~Sister Patriot
