Mr. Rikoski.....you sir do not know the law of the land. You sir should take a step back and find out what Ham Radio Operators really do. This Ham Operator is giving back much needed service to your community: 1. When all modern technology is destroyed by nature or man the Ham Operator will be able to receive and communicate / back / and forth giving out any emergency communications for your area. 2. When Mother Natures surprises come your way the Ham Operator is most likely the person the weather bureaus are monitoring for updated real time events. 3. The Ham Operator spends his own money and time to provide your community with valuable, timeless, communications while your other public safety officers are busy in areas elsewhere. 4. Did you know that it was Ham operators who pioneered the internet? Voice communications for cell phones? Did you know that Ham Operators pioneered space communications and still do to this day? Instead of trying to beat the guy up or run him off into the sunset try getting to know him. This is W9FPJ.
