It is my opinion that the Farm Bureau helped develop the Iowa Nutrient Reduction Strategy. I don’t think the voluntary strategy will work and that is why I believe that the state of Iowa, under the political influence of the Farm Bureau, is not testing water quality to determine if the NRS is working or not. Bill Northey should stand up and do what needs to be done for future of Iowa farming and the citizens of Iowa.
