Well Mister Shankar , if you think we are just a bunch of illiterates berating the misfortune that has befallen us , think twice ..... Often we had been and have been on different sides in the crises and quarrels happening in social life . Sometimes we had even been fiercely opposed together . Yet on the whole a relationship had been maintained which was part of the continuity of my public life ,and this was cemented by warm personal friendship. People who did not know the services you had rendered to the society , or your force , driving power and judgement as I did often wondered why your influence with me stood so high . And I have never bothered to explain it to them . It has been my fortune to have ups and downs in my political relations with you , the downs on the whole predominating perhaps . , but at any rate we have always preserved agreeable , personal relations , which so far as I am concerned are greatly valued . But should all this be reason to remain a mute spectator to every calumny and lie uttered or printed ? Of late through your foolish rants on facebook you have made many people turn away from you , and I do personally believe , you have put too much current on the cables and the cables have fused . That maybe the reason for mending the cables and reducing the current , it is surely no reason for declaring that electricity is a fluid too dangerous for civilizations to handle . However that again is for you to decide . People like me are aware , if we are hated , you will not make us loved , You are enough to irritate but not enough to overawe . You certainly cannot make us invulnerable , but yes you have the potential to make us venturesome . I believe you are a man who has the habit of occasionally stumbling over the truth and then you hastily pick yourself up and hurry on as if nothing has happened . Hatred at any price appears to be your motto , at the sacrifice of any friend or colleague , at the sacrifice of any principle , by the adoption of any manoeuvre , however miserable or contemptible . From being the glorious whistleblower , you have stooped down to appear like some impetuous and untutored stripling . All that credibility that you have built up over years are falling shivered into fragments upon the ground , and you have none but yourself to blame . Alas.... The raw and rowdy format that you have unleashed would most certainly catch upto you one day . Your choice of language is despicable to say the least and your words are bordering on acute paranoia peppered with inaccuracy and misrepresentation . At best I can term it brilliance in decay . You have turned out to be a thorough disappointment , as we had expected constructive criticism filled with words of merit and information on all affairs including the present wealth case surrounding the former chief minister . Whereas your posts indicate you are looking at the affair through the wrong end of a municipal drainpipe . How sad ..... The only guide to a man is his conscience , the only shield to his memory is the rectitude and sincerity of his actions , and I conclude with the hope that you would ponder on it as well ....
