Mr. Son Chhay is a Cambodian politician and well-known opposition Member of Parliamentary (MP). Mr. Son Chhay graduated in 1984 from Flinders University in Australia with a Bachelor Degree in Mathematical Science. This was followed by a Diploma in Education from Adelaide University in 1985. He has lectured in some University in Phnom Penh , schools and colleges in South Australia. Mr. Son Chhay is well respected for his tireless effort to fight against corruption, promoting liberal democracy and human rights in Cambodia. Because the effort he received the Order of Australia Award on 14 June 2010. He was represented Cambodian National Parliamentary in various regional and international stages , especially in ASEAN region. He has been working as Chair of several National Assembly Committee , including Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Information, Public Works, Transport, Telecommunications, Post, Industry, Energy, Mines and Commerce ..etc. Mr. Son Chhay has seen by the public as the moderate and reasonable opposition MP. He has never given up or left Cambodia in any tuberculous time and faced with authoritarian ruling party.
