In 2014 he was awarded the Jimmy V Perserverance Award named after Jimmy Valvano whose own battle was lost in 1993 just after his incredibly moving Dont give up, never give up speech. Attached is Keifer Sutherlands presentation of this award to Stuart and his own powerful speech.
