Mr. Tony Pickett is now sharing information regarding the Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA) Distinguished Board recognition program. The BOE is currently recognized as a Quality Board. The Distinguished Board recognition is the next step up for this program from the GSBA. Mr. Picketts next agenda item is discussion regarding the Strategic Plan and the need to vote to place it out for public review and comment for the next couple of months. The BOE will take action on this recommendation on Oct. 13th.
