Mr. Tweh promised that UP will not be passive in the upcoming - TopicsExpress

Mr. Tweh promised that UP will not be passive in the upcoming elections, and that the youth congress in alliance with key organs of the Party, will build consensus around a candidate whose vision is very particularly similar to the Unity Party. The UP youth further disclosed that Mr. Sylla and Mr. Teeko Yorlay former Nimba county Development superintendent are the only two youthful partisans who declared their interest in contesting on the Party ticket in Nimba and Montserrado as a result encouragement from the Party’s national youth congress. He also said as a result of a unanimous decision from the Party’s Executive Committee to collaborate with Senator Prince Johnson, Yorlay was made to relegate his ambition without preconditions something he described as a symptomatic manifestation of true partisanship committed to the party’s principles.(Frontpage Africa) If you read the excerpt above you will realize that the only difference between Ali Sylla and the UP is that the UP acted as a party to withdraw from Nimba senatorial race and support Prince Y. Johnson whilst Sylla abrupt medical withdrawal was unilateral, which is categorized as a sellout to give Robert Sirleaf the chance. I say it is the same 6 and 7 and the UP needs to shut up when people of patriotic integrity and vision are frowning on the Syllas withdrawal. At least if the allegations against Sylla are proven true , hes giving it up for a man who is not an ex-combatant and killer as Prince Y. Johnson for whom the UP didnt field a candidate in Nimba in order to support. Hypocrisy!!!!! Note: I still frown on and condemn Alis action to withdraw at the 11th hour citing medical reasons.
