Mr. Wonderful has a grape arbor out in our backyard and he harvested a few grapes this year and asked my mom to turn them into grape pies. I dont bake pies very often, probably not even once a year, and so he knew it wouldnt happen if he had to depend on me. Mom made one pie the traditional way with two crusts and the other pie she made with a white filling on the bottom and then the grape filling and then covered it with crumbs. She invited everybody meaning my brothers family, my family and my sister and her boyfriend to partake of the pie, but only a very small handful actually were able to be there. We had a nice time visiting over eating these delicious pies and now it is bedtime.
