Mr. Yadav, pls correct your facts. This tax imposition was false & wrong on the very first. the tax was imposed retrospectively on the company. So it has to go. Just put yourself in Vodafones shoes and think that if the rate of interest say is 10% in 2005 and u paid full tax for that year as per the rules. Then after 5 years in 2010 if some govt increases the tax slab retrospectively to say 30 % and compels you to pay the remaining amount that how would u feel. At that time u would cry hoax & criticise the govt for charging u retrospectively. A wrong cannot be corrected by another wrong. So pls dont interfere if ur economy knowledge is poor.
