Mr. Zander you can be very proud of what transpired in your absence last night at The Hideaway Cafe. Yes, you were missed without question but to have an intimate evening of getting to know the great friends and musicians that you share the stage with you as The Robin Zander Band was a treat within itself. A standing ovation and many a hat off to Steve, Larry and Mark - TorQue!- for this one of a kind event & very special evening! And a very special thanks to one Mr. Robin Taylor Zander that dropped in to share the stage for a few and helped the guys bring down some serious rockin riffs! Proves time and time again, each time I see him, that the love of music is seeded deep within his soul and when plays or when he sings -he expresses it just eloquently every time. This inspiring talent is one to keep your eye on.. ;-) Mark Hitt. In a word - phenomenal. There were several times I just sat there and watched your truly amazing fingers ravage the strings of the instrument you were holding. When you take up that guitar, you just take command of that stage. I am thankful that this great bands formation brought you to my attention for I am such a Hitt fan because of. Did I say phenomenal? Yes! ;-) Larry Hobbs. Soulful. Soulful and completely in charge; working that bass guitar like you were born to. Are you sure the medical field was your calling because you could have fooled me. Truly amazing to watch you bring to the table what you do, giving the other guys in the band a run for their money; a very able and talented player in TorQue as well as RZB. Stay the musical course and call in sick to the office more ;-) Steve Luongo. Exceptional. A one man show in himself. A musician par excellence, quite an impressive vocalist and a wit about him that always adds a boisterously fun flavor to every show. There is no other like Steve Luongo, rest assured! Steve- . As always, you gave the evening that handsome beat it called for and freed a lot of souls with the richness of your rhythms. You got the job done and quite nicely, drummer extraordinaire ;-) To say just a Thank You alone for another wonderful show just seems so inadequate but there it is and very heartfelt, gentleman. You truly are one stand alone, musically unique and special trio which makes your pairing with Mr. Zander to form his solo band even that much sweeter; even that much pleasing to the ear. That said - TorQue has a brand new shiny fan in me & indeed :-) Yes, I will repeat post this wonderful photo captured by the fabulous Vicky Sullivan...
