Mr. spineless Obama, here’s what happens when ISIS threatens Russia September 4, 2014 by Richard Berkow The leader of Chechnya, and ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, responded to an Islamic State threat against his country on Wednesday by saying “these bastards will be destroyed” and that Russia’s sons will “wring the neck of any enemy in his own lair.” Compare this menacing response of Ramzan Kadyrov to that of President Barack Obama, who on the same day said in Estonia, “America will not be intimidated,” that America could make ISIS a “manageable problem” if it could mobilize the “international community.” The Chechen leader was reacting to a video posted on Tuesday by ISIS, that Russian President Putin would be brought down for his ongoing support of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad and that Muslim Chechnya would be liberated, Fox News reported. Kadyrov, referred to in the video as a Putin puppet, went on Instagram to fulminate, “I emphasize that they [ISIS] finish their days under the hot sun in Syria and Iraq, and in the first instant of death meet their eternal flames of Hell, Allahu Akbar!” He was incensed at the filming of militia fighters ostensibly connected to ISIS cavorting around captured Russian planes in Libya’s Tabqa Airport, which Israeli intelligence news service DEBKA reported may be used to strike targets in the Middle East and Western Europe on September 11. While Kadyrov wrote “we find ourselves with happiness ridding the world of these scum,” Obama said at a news conference, “We know that if we are joined by the international community, we can continue to shrink ISIL’s sphere of influence, its effectiveness, its financing, its military capabilities to the point where it is a manageable problem,” according to the New York Times. Is it any wonder that leaders around the world have become totally exasperated with America’s most reluctant warrior, and sought alignment with men who carry testosterone in their veins? Richard Berkow Former political news reporter Richard Berkow lost his idealism in the Kennedy years, and his innocence in Vietnam, Lebanon, and the Soviet Union.
