Mrs. Alikanjiru, Cibora, could not afford the best of Christmas - TopicsExpress

Mrs. Alikanjiru, Cibora, could not afford the best of Christmas for her family for numerous years like other residents of Kibiritine village. Once Christmas neared, her children would ask her questions like what we shall cook, if they will get new cloths, if she would take them for an out or to visit their cousins, and so on and so forth as it is always with children during the Christmas. Mzoro and other tycoons would flaunt their wealth during Xmas in slaughtering the fattest bulls; importing the most splendid dresses going out in choppers and so on. Cibora used to tell her kids that the main theme of Xmas is to celebrate the birthday of The Lord our savior, Jesus. And because Jesus is the King of Kings, HE will one day change their lives and give them the best on Earth. She always reminded her kids that Christmas is a period for kindling the fire for hospitality in the foyer for everyone, the genial flame of charity in the heart, the time for refreshing your spiritual riches in Jesus. The children waited for God to give them riches for long, but instead they have grown to be very important people in the village with a lot of progress in everything. Now they live better lives than their counterpart sons and daughters of affluent Mzoro and others, who were brought up in denial of the true meaning of the CHRISTMAS. Alas! Did you know that expectancy is the atmosphere for miracles? Christmas is the time to restore our relationship with Jesus; who came as a bridge to reconnect us to the original love of the father, which was lost in the garden of Eden. Let us know and teach our children the real meaning of Christmas. Sema Halleluiah! MERRY CHRISTMAS
