Mrs Bennetts farewell liturgy was very moving and special yesterday. A highlight of the liturgy was a speech given by Taylor Missen. Taylor is a past pupil of our school and is at present in Year 13 at Cambridge High School. She is working on attaining level 1 in NCEA. As Taylor mentioned yesterday she was fortunate to have Mrs. Bennett as her teacher aide during her time at Saint Peters Catholic School and Taylor attributes many of her successes to the hard work and effort that Mrs. Bennett put into helping Taylor while she was at our school. Our wonderful choir sang Mrs. Bennett two songs and we then presented her with a wooden cross made by the Young Vinnies, a big farewell card/book signed by everyone and a posie of flowers. We then sang our own version of Mrs Bennett were gunna miss you to finish off the presentation and liturgy.
