Mrs. Doris Elizabeth Deloach Bailey, age 87, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Oxley Park Health & Rehab in Lyons, under the care of Community Hospice. Mrs. Bailey was born October 28, 1926 in Tattnall County to the late Nathan “Bud” DeLoach and the late Ella Estelle Baker Deloach. She was a Homemaker and member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Bailey, Jr. and her son, Gene Bailey. Survivors include Daughter and Son-In-Law, Sheila (Jeff) Rucker of Hazlehurst; Son and Daughter-In-Law, James (Janice) Bailey of Hazlehurst; Four Grandchildren, Regina Shumans of Hazlehurst, Rachel Smith of Portal, Bailey Rucker and Ashley Rucker of Hazlehurst; Three Great-Grandchildren, Nichole Shumans Music of Hazlehurst, Ashtyn Johnson and Allie Johnson of Portal; Two Sisters Kathleen Davis and Marion Clements of Hazlehurst; Brother, Robert DeLoach of Jonesboro and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church at 1:00pm with Rev. David Griffin and Rev. Glenn Bohannon officiating. Interment will follow in Church Cemetery. Family may be contacted at the home of Jeff & Sheila Rucker, 1603 Altamaha Road, Hazlehurst.
