Mrs. Lana Jeanette Spivey Lee, 70, died Friday, February 28, 2014 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Will McBrayer officiating. The interment will be in Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Barron Funeral Home. Born May 30, 1943 in Fairfield County, SC, Mrs. Lee was the daughter of the late Rheno and Evelyn Sturkie Spivey. She attended the schools of Winnsboro, SC and was formerly employed with Fairfield Manufacturing and Rose’s. She was a member of First Baptist Church Winnsboro and enjoyed baking and caring for her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of over fifty-one years, George L. Lee; two daughters, Cathy Lee Miller (Jeff) of Rock Hill, SC and Laronda “Ronda” Lee (Jack) of Richburg, SC; three grandchildren, Lewis Loftin of Richburg and Chelsey Lee Miller and Chase Miller both of Rock Hill; two brothers, Spencer “Spin” Spivey (Kitt) and Carl Spivey all of Winnsboro. She was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Gene Spivey. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Blackstock, 907 Durham Road, Blackstock, SC 29014.
