Mrs. Polly Dominick Mallard, 67, passed away on Saturday, April 5, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 8, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. Lauri Hartley officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery in Plains. Born June 23, 1946 in Plains, she was a daughter of the late James Guy Dominick and Helen Walters Dominick. Mrs. Mallard was a member of Plains United Methodist Church, and was a home maker. She was preceded in death in 2013 by her husband, Walter Braxton Mallard. She is survived by her sister & brother-in-law, Glenda & Charlie Gillis of Georgetown, GA; two nieces and many good friends.
