Mrs. Ruby Lee Coleman Humphrey, age 82, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Emanuel County, having lived in Vidalia most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Smith Street Baptist Church where she taught the 4-5 year old Sunday school class for over twenty-eight years. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Coleman, Sr. and Lindy Foskey Coleman and three siblings, John Henry Coleman, Jr., Randall Coleman and Bonnie Coleman Mosley. Mrs. Humphrey is survived by her husband of sixty years, William Audrey Humphrey; three sons, William Alan Humphrey, Daniel Lee Humphrey and wife Terri, and Thomas Mark Humphrey and wife Bobbie all of Vidalia; four grandchildren, Lauren Audrey Humphrey Howard and husband Jay, Lindy Erin Humphrey, Lee Alexander Humphrey and Graham “Gray” Mark Humphrey; one great-grandson, Lane Wiley Howard; and one sister, Grace Coleman Cowart all of Vidalia. The funeral service will be held Friday, November 1st at 3:00 pm in the Smith Street Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry A. Pickard officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Community Hospice Foundation, P.O.
