Ms. Abby, the Bodacious Boxer rescue, is in her kennel in my house - snug as a bug in a rug. We stopped by Red River, and I introduced her to Susan and Tina. She and my 3 babies are sniffing thru the kennel grill. She did a little growling at first, but things are calm for now. She is still in season, so she has to be kept up safe and sound. I also have to be very aware of her bladder habits for the next few days. She may not be completely out of the woods just yet. Abby is a very sweet girl that has obviously been mistreated. Shes very head shy at the moment, but warms up quickly. I think a few weeks at the Wandaful Phat Farm for Furry Pups will cure any issues she has about feeling like everyone may hurt her. Please keep her in your prayers. We need her to heal properly. Abbys total Vet expenses thus far are $489 of which we received a $50 donation. We are still shy $439, and Im pleading for donations. All donations should be made either to Eden Veterinary Hospital - reference Abby, Wanda Stophel, and/or Nadias Haven Of Hope Foundation: Paws With A Cause. You may also make donations directly to any member of the Foundation. We are a NONPROFIT organization trying to promote animal welfare causes and rescuing/fostering if necessary to help babies out.
