Ms. Ruth Lee Chatman. (Dec. 20, 1939-Sept. 30, 1995). My mother. What more can I say that I havent said nearly 20 years after her passing and entrance into the kingdom of heaven on this, the 75th year of her birth? Except to say how much I miss and love her more now than ever. My two younger brothers, Glenn, Craig and I, were really the luckiest sons ever. Period. I remember as a kid hearing our former 37th President, Richard Nixon, describing his mother as a saint. Well, our mother was a saint as well, because if you would look hard enough you could have seen the wings and halo upon her. There is not a day that goes by that we dont think of her. However, I know in my heart (forever broken) that she would want.....and expect.....us to soldier on. And so in closing, I say, mom you have been missed, you are missed, and you will eternally and forever always be missed! Please tell Mother (my dads mom), Grandmother Rosa, Grandfather John, Glenn, Dad, Aunt Susan, Uncle Raymond, Uncle Willie C., Uncle Bill, Cousin Melissa, Uncle David, Aunt Clara, Cousin Mary, Cousin Lorraine,Uncle Melvin, and Uncle Harold, how much we miss and love them as well. May the Lord God bless you forever in his house and kingdom forever, and ever. Happy Birthday in heaven, mom.
