Ms Zane, you posted the news story of my family member last week that was killed by her boyfriend. Her name is Tylandria Rivers. Thank you for bringing light to her story. Well she was the second young woman killed by her bf in a week here in Mobile, Al. Now as I woke up this morning (July 15 th) I see that another young mom Selena (I think she is 18) was killed by her boyfriend. Theres not much that you or I can say to these young ladies to make them leave these situations or a magic pill to make a man show you his true character, But thank you for being a voice to women and for caring enough to tell us the truth with these situations that are written to you for advice. Im rambling now bc as I type the tears are flowing bc I still miss my friend Satoria who was killed on July 4th and Tylandria who was killed on July 6th...ladies wake up bc love does not hurt or kill. It is important to bring awareness to these things and I have often explained that when I make an attempt to help young women, it is like I am trying to save the life of a woman named Ellen over and over again. Years ago, I tried to convince her to leave her abusive man. The next thing I knew, Ellen was dead and everyone tried to pretend that it was natural causes. Not a chance on that. I am posting the update about Tylandrias boyfriend being charged. I hope his arrest will bring your family some closure.
