Mu family has been the victim of racism my entire life. i love my family. I love people, and because my family is mixed, i think is the reason i am how i am. i was raised to know that people are people. Some are good, some are bad. But were all beautiful in our own way. It is sad people call other people the N word because theyre black and not meaning ignorant.. When everyone knows ignorance is being uneducated, unsophisticated and lacking common knowledge. Having nothing to do with a persons skin color. We all derive from different back grounds. French, German, Irish, Dutch, African, Italian, Sicilian, British... Ext ext... Were in the 20th century, racism needs to stop. The pigment of a persons skill has nothing to do with their character. Someone called Amari the N word when I was still pregnant. A child who had never had a breathe of air.. Or had a chance to learn anything, how could she be ignorant?? That shows who was really being ignorant... Like Ralph Waldo Emerson said, Ignorance is bliss, that imitation is suicide. Meaning when people dont see things for what they are, and accept thigs for how it is, is how they stay happy. And to pretend to be something youre not is like killing yourself. When situations come about like this, just smile and be the bigger person and just remember, youre happy, and if your happiness upsets someone else, thats not youre problem, its theirs. I love my beautiful family!!!
