Much is now being said about a spoiler notice from Downton Abbeys Season 5 (not seen by me yet) concerning the dog Isis whose tail has faithfully wagged us into each episode and doggedly following Robert Crawly Earl of all, up and down that grand stair case. Will Isis really be written out of the script because he ironically bears a common name with a now well know terrorist group? If there is a canine funeral, will a replacement show up named Corky or Rusty? Or will it be a female named Wendy, Maggie or Agatha, shortened to Aggie. Could the next dog on Downton b Abbey be a long haired lapdog for the Dowager Countess?
